What just about every individual imagines is that they become hypnotized and like some miracle, they transform to be thinner. Or they become hypnotized, enter the snore zone until morning and greet the new day and all their flab is gone. Oh, if it were only true but that isn't how we function. Let me continue. All behaviors, good or not, are stored in the subconscious mind and the subconscious does not respond to force. normal life examples are when we consciously try (use of will power) to either get to sleep or recall a name we have retained, we become annoyedand stressed because it doesn't work. Whenever we apply this approach, the more we try, the more difficult it is. We must learn it is really more efficient, comfortable and natural when they sidestep, remove the conscious in this process. But why then almost everyone continue doing it? Ego. The conscious mind is our ego and almost everyone would like to think "we" are in control and "we" make things happen. Let me just say you couldn't be more incorrect! Think of all of the phenomenal workings below the level of consciousness like cell regeneration, procreation, healing, creativity, the ability to sleep and wake without any conscious thought and even a deeper awareness that we call a gut feeling or our first thought. How frequently do we say, "I knew I should have gone with my first thought?" And we always regret not doing so. But why didn't we? Once again, it's ego. Our ego, conscious mind, gets involved in that subtle feeling we receive referred to as a gut feeling, analyzes it and thinks, no, that's not what I need to do. Again let me just say, that's false! Our first thought is our intuition. It's the way all living things exists and functions without any of the downfalls we thinking beings endure. Whenever wanting a change in your actions, thoughts and feelings that are not helpful and impede you from being your best, think about the approach that is safe, natural and effective, hypnosis. If will power worked we would all be what we want to be... but we're not. |
